Content Takedown & Copyright Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
1. Non-Hosting & Aggregator Notice
DramaShort respects the intellectual property rights of all copyright holders, creators, and producers. DramaShort is an indexing and aggregation service; we do not host, store, archive, or upload any video files on our own servers. All video media and streams displayed through the Service are hosted and transmitted by independent third-party services, hosting platforms, and content delivery networks.
Although we do not host any media files, we take intellectual property concerns seriously. Upon receipt of a valid and complete infringement notice, DramaShort will promptly remove or disable access to the relevant indexed title, episode links, and search listings from our platform.
2. Submitting a Takedown Notice
To expedite the processing of your request, please provide a written notification that includes the following information:
- 1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: The title of the drama, the name of the author, studio, or copyright owner, and a link to an official or authorized publication of the work.
- 2. Location of the Material on DramaShort: The exact URL(s) on DramaShort (e.g.,
https://dramashort.click/drama/[slug]) where the allegedly infringing listing appears. - 3. Upstream Source Information (if known): The name or URL of the third-party provider or external host delivering the video stream.
- 4. Contact Information: Your full legal name, organization or company name (if applicable), email address, mailing address, and telephone number.
- 5. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- 6. Accuracy Statement (Penalty of Perjury): A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- 7. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
3. Submission Channels
You may submit your complete takedown notice through either of the following channels:
- Online Contact Form (Expedited): Visit our Contact Us page and select "Content Request or Report".
- Email: Send your notice with all required information to our designated copyright agent at
dmca@dramashort.my.id.
4. Review Timeline & Actions Taken
Upon receiving a valid notice containing all required elements:
- Our moderation team reviews and acknowledges the submission within 24 to 48 business hours.
- The corresponding title page, episode links, and search indexing entries are disabled and removed from the DramaShort catalog.
- The external provider identifier is added to our automated ingestion blacklist to prevent re-indexing in future automated scans.
5. Notice to Third-Party Hosts
Because DramaShort does not host the underlying video files, removing a listing from DramaShort prevents viewing through our platform, but does not remove the file from the third-party server where it is hosted. To remove the file from the internet entirely, copyright holders are also encouraged to contact the upstream host or hosting platform directly.
6. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe an indexed entry was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our copyright agent containing your contact information, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you consent to jurisdiction and that the material was removed by mistake.
