Quin, the supreme overlord who once ruled the global underworld, now enjoys his retirement in the maximum-security Tartarus Prison in New York. At the request of a powerful conglomerate patriarch, he assumes the identity of a security chief to serve as the personal bodyguard of Serena, the ice-cold female CEO of Manhattan. Facing deadly assassinations from New York's Capone mafia family, malicious short-selling on Wall Street, and betrayal within the consortium, Quin crushes all opposition with his brutal aesthetic of violence and unfathomable wealth. Through a baptism of blood and fire, the ice queen falls completely, and New York's underground order finally meets its true master.
